Hello Arbour Lake Families,

What an incredible week it has been at ALS!

Wellness Day was a tremendous success, and we are so proud of what our students experienced. With over 80 sessions led by staff and over 20 guest speakers, the day was filled with opportunities for students to explore new activities that support both emotional and physical well-being. We started the day with a pancake breakfast and were visited at lunch by YYC Food Trucks. A big thank you to them for joining us. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Ms. Rehman and Ms. MacDougall for their exceptional planning and organization, and to all the staff who helped bring the day to life. We also extend our gratitude to our guest speakers for generously sharing their time and expertise. We hope your child had a memorable day and felt inspired to try something new.

Badminton divisional tournaments have been running throughout the week, with our grade 6 and 7 students competing tonight. Our teams have done incredibly well, even bringing home a few gold medals. Congratulations to all our athletes on a fantastic season, and thank you to our coaches for their early morning and afternoon practice commitments.

Our first trip with The Class students to ROARR, an equine therapy program, was a great success. Students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and responded positively to the unique environment and learning opportunities.

Please be reminded that next Tuesday, May 20th is the Annual General Meeting for our School Council. This is an in-person meeting starting at 6:30PM.
