Happy Friday!

This week, we welcomed our next year’s grade 6 students, as they toured the building and got a sense of what to expect in middle school. A huge thank you to our student leaders who took them under their wings and helped them feel welcomed and at home. Thank you as well to Ms. Ashley Tompkins for organizing the visit. We are excited to have these students join our community.

Congratulations to all the students who performed in the Band Concert last night, it was a fantastic performance! Thank you to Mr. Eygenraam for his work with the band this year.

On Tuesday evening, we held our School Council AGM. Thank you to everyone who attended. Thank you very much for the onging support provided to us by our council led by Ms. Jenny Crawford and Ms. Krista Sutherland.

Coming up next week, our ImPACt students have planned an amazing Trompical Escape for everyone at our annual spring dance on May 28th. Tickets are available for sale at lunch on Monday and Tuesday - $4 in advance and $5 at the door.

Provincial Acheibement Tests are starting next week for our grade 6 and 9 students. For more information around these government mandated standardized tests please visit the following: https://www.alberta.ca/provincial-achievement-tests
