Hello Arbour Lake Families,

I hope everyone is doing well and has had a great week. Looking ahead to next week, I want to remind families that Monday, October 19 is a noninstructional day and there is no school for students. The CBE instructional calendar was adjusted to accommodate the Alberta provincial referendum being held that day, as many CBE schools, including Arbour Lake School, will serve as polling locations. While students will not be in attendance, our staff will be at work participating in professional learning and collaborative planning. We hope you enjoy the extended weekend with your children, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday morning.

A reminder as well that our next School Council meeting is Tuesday, October 20 at 6:30 p.m. This will be a virtual meeting, making it easy to join us from home. The meeting link is included below. We always appreciate having families join us, and I hope you are able to pop online and participate.
