Dear Arbour Lake School Families,

I hope you have had a great week. Our week at ALS has been jam packed! Grade 6 had Teacher’s Pet in to work with them on coding, earlier in the week. This is a new component in the new grade 6 science curriculum. Yesterday and today, Elev8 Lacrosse was working with all grade 6 students. In providing students with such opportunity, we hope to broaden their scope and introduce them to new sports and activities. Additionally, our grade 8 and 9 Band students were in Band Camp at Camp Evergreen.

Planning for next year continues, if you have a child in grades 6-8 who is not returning to Arbour Lake School next year, please let us know as soon as possiible. This impacts our staffing and timetable – which is all required to be set well before April 30th .

Please be reminded that there are no classes tomorrow as it is a holiday and the school will be closed. Monday is a non-instructional day for students, with only our staff expected to come to school.

I hope you have a wonderful long weekended, and if you are celebrating Easter – Happy Easter!!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance at nmlisi@cbe.ab.ca.
