Good afternoon Arbour Lake Families,

It has been another great week at Arbour Lake School! There has been lots happening throughout the building, including a busy week for our Coyote athletics teams.

Congratulations to all of our student athletes on a fantastic week of competition! Both of our soccer teams earned wins this week, with our girls’ soccer team winning both of their games. Our Senior Boys Basketball team also came away with a win on Tuesday, while our Junior Boys Basketball team gave us an exciting finish with a buzzer-beater victory! Our Junior Girls Basketball team added another win to the week as well. Well done to all of our Coyotes! We are proud of the effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship our athletes continue to demonstrate, and grateful to the staff who give their time to coach and support our teams.

A reminder that school will be closed on Monday, October 12, for Thanksgiving.

As we head into the long weekend, I hope all of our Arbour Lake families have an opportunity to enjoy some time together, slow down from the busyness of the fall, and appreciate the people and moments that make this time of year special. Wishing everyone a very happy and restful Thanksgiving!

We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday and as always, please reach out to nmlisi@cbe.ab.ca if you need anything at all.
